Happy Holidays everyone! Today we take a look at a classic winter drink--Hot Toddy, and create 3 different cocktails based on the same basic 3-ingredient recipe (lemon, honey, and whisky).
聖誕快樂!今天的調酒是杯很適合冷天喝的熱調酒「Hot Toddy」,一杯基本原料只需要檸檬、蜂蜜、和威士忌的調酒。很容易製作,也很容易加入自己喜歡的其他材料。影片中包含了三種定義上都為「Hot Toddy」,卻風味各不同的熱酒。
Hot Toddy Recipe 酒譜
#1 The Base / 基本
1.5 tsp (8ml) lemon juice / 1.5 茶匙黃檸檬汁
1 Tbsp honey / 1 桌匙蜂蜜
1oz (35ml) whisky / 威士忌
boiling water, to fill the teacup (or mug) / 熱水
optional: garnish with smoked cinnamon / 煙燻肉桂棒
#2 Spicing it up / 加點香料
1 teabag / 茶包
3 cloves / 丁香
1/2 star anise / 八角
1/2 cinnamon stick / 肉桂棒
1 Tbsp honey / 1 匙蜂蜜
3 thin slices of ginger / 薑片
1/2 lemon / 黃檸檬
boiling water, enough to make 1 to 2 cups of tea / 熱水
1.5 oz (45ml) bourbon (Wild Turkey Bourbon) / 波本威士忌 (野火雞)
#3 Apple Cinnamon Goodness / 蘋果肉桂酒
1 apple, peeled and sliced / 蘋果削皮切片
4 cloves / 丁香
butter / 奶油
ground cinnamon, to taste / 肉桂粉
brown sugar, to taste / 紅糖
salt, to taste / 鹽
1-2 lemon wedges / 黃檸檬
splash of brandy / 白蘭地酒
splash of Cointreau / 君度橙酒 (或其他品牌 triple sec)
1 Tbsp honey / 1 匙蜂蜜
Monkey Shoulder whisky / 威士忌
